Advanced Nursing Practice describes the working methods of higher educated and experienced nurses The Bachelor's degree course is characterised by its specialisation in the fields of Intensive Medicine and Intensive Care, Anaesthesiology and Anaesthetic Care as well as Emergency Medicine and Emergency Management. In addition, the bachelor's degree course serves the extension of existing nursing practice and the development of new nursing skills in education, research and practice.

The aim of the bachelor's degree course is to educate students on current and future challenges as reflexive and changeable actors. Especially through the ability to critically analyse and analyse existing knowledge, the graduates contribute to the quality assurance and further development of the health and care professions by examining and evaluating nursing activities.
