      - first academic degree: either relevant linguistic degree course or philological, speech therapy or teaching qualification degree course, in which the sum of the credit points acquired in courses with a linguistic focus amounts to at least 20 CP/ECTS. Besides: first academic degree can also be a psychology course if it has a linguistic or cognitive psychology component totalling at least 20 credit points/ECTS credits.
      - at least level B2 in English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Foreign Languages (CEFR)
    • Completion of first university degree Bachelor/Bakkalaureus, Diplom, Magister, Master, Staatsexamen Lehramt
      (and other qualifications, provided that they are recognised as being equivalent)

      Minimum requirements for first university degree:
      • Minimum grade: 2.30
      • Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters

      For this degree programme, you should have gained your first university qualification in one of the following subjects groups or areas of study:
      • Subject group: Humanities and Social Sciences, Language and Cultural Studies, Teaching Degrees
      • Area of study: English Studies, American Studies, German Studies and Contemporary Germanic Languages, Language and Literary Studies, Modern European Philologies, Miscellaneous, Psychology, Romance Studies, Slavic Studies
