    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Bachelor's degree course in Computer Science is a scientifically founded degree which is based on foundations and methodology; it is also highly practical and application-oriented, with an elective field of application which is broader than most. The course provides a solid basic education in practical, technical and theoretical Computer Science. It is recommended that a six-week internship is carried out during the course. The non-lecture period between the third and fourth or the fourth and fifth semester lends itself to this.

The Bachelor's degree qualifies students to enter a profession and for admission to a subject-related Master's course – at the Universität Osnabrück fundamentally for the Master's degree course in Computer Science and, with corresponding course planning, for the Master's courses in Cognitive Science, Geo-Informatics, Mathematics or Environmental Systems and Resource Management.
