- Admission requirements for the B.A. European Cultures and Society are the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or the subject-linked higher education entrance qualification 'Economics' as well as 'Social Affairs'. The entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences does not entitle the holder to take up university studies in Schleswig-Holstein.   In addition, an adequate command of English is required.
  For proof of language skills, a certificate submitted must not be older than a maximum of two years from the beginning of the semester for which registration is requested.

    International Studierende aus Nicht-EU-Mitgliedsstaaten sollten ihre Unterlagen frühzeitig einreichen oder besser die Zeugnisse plus Übersetzungen vor dem offiziellen Bewerbungsbeginn zur Prüfung in der Zulassungsstelle einreichen. Ist eine Verifikation nicht möglich, müssen die Unterlagen an die Zentralstelle nach Bonn geschickt werden. Das dortige Prüfungsverfahren kann mehrere Monate dauern. Für die Teilnahme am Auswahlverfahren muss das Ergebnis der Prüfung spätestens zum Bewerbungsschluss vorliegen.
