    • (1) Admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Teaching Qualification for Grammar School-level and Comprehensive Schools is only granted to applicants who have the higher education entrance qualification certificate (general or relevant subject-restricted) or the entrance qualification for universities of applied science according to a legislative decree or a certificate recognised as equivalent by legislation or by the responsible state authority, or fulfil the requirements for applicants considered to be qualified by professional training or the requirements of the Foreign Students Access to Higher Education Regulation.
      (2) Applicants who have not obtained the entrance requirements at a German institution must have sufficient command of German. Proof of the ability to study in terms of language is required for unrestricted admission or enrolment to all degree courses. Details are specified in the regulations of the German language proficiency test for access to higher education at the Universität Paderborn in the currently valid version.
      (3) Enrolling to study the teaching subjects Art, Music and Sport requires passing an aptitude test. Details are specified in the specific conditions for studying the teaching subjects or the specific regulations for assessing course-related aptitude.
      (4) Further requirements may result from the specific conditions for Education studies and for studying the teaching subjects.

      Enrolment for studying the teaching subject Art requires the successful completion of an aptitude test beyond the provisions specified in section 5 of the General Conditions. The relevant provisions are in the regulations for determining the course-related aptitude in the Bachelor's degree courses Teaching Qualification for Special Schools with the subject Art, Teaching Qualification for Primary Schools with the subject Art, Teaching Qualification for Intermediate Schools, German Lower Secondary Schools and Comprehensive Schools with the subject Art, Teaching Qualification for Grammar School-level and Comprehensive Schools with the subject Art, Teaching Qualification for Vocational Colleges with the subject Art as well as the dual-subject Bachelor's degree course with the subject Art and Art Education or the subject Art Education, Art and Context as defined in the currently valid version.
