  • Field of study

    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Graduates of the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Vocational Education for Nursing and Health Professions (BA) work in institutions providing initial and in-service training, as well as continuing education and training for nursing and health professions. They primarily carry out practical teaching, plan and evaluate this, and take on practical training in the form of practical instruction and support for students in clinical settings. As a result, they contribute to a successful transfer of theory and practice in joint learning situations with students of the nursing and healthcare professions, enable the linking of technical and practical parts of the respective training courses and link the different learning locations of the respective training courses (technical colleges, practice facilities). Furthermore, they plan, evaluate and carry out training for patients and their relatives as well as topic-related advice in fields of healthcare.
The degree course builds on students’ existing skills from completed vocational training (both in nursing and other healthcare professions). It draws on existing experiences from teaching and instructing at technical schools and develops them further within the degree course.
