    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Analytical thinking and action, embedded in a scientific approach, are the most important basis for fighting crime today. The continuous merging of the digital and real worlds makes it necessary for investigators to be at home in both worlds and to be able to move between them. The degree programme Analytical & Digital Forensics (B.Sc.) prepares you optimally for this task. How to secure traces? What does forensic imaging and image processing mean? How does analytical forensics work? You will get to the bottom of these questions together with lecturers and fellow students during your studies. In addition, you will learn numerous key competencies and a broad methodological expertise, which you can apply in practice thanks to several practical modules.

After just six semesters, the degree course offers you a quick start to your professional life. Would you like to use your period of study for a specialisation instead? The 240 CP variant offers you a focus on chemical analysis or biomedicine.

„Our aim is to accompany people on their educational journey throughout their lives, to support and challenge them and thus help shape their personal success.”
    Dr. Evelyn Ehrenberger
    President of Hochschule Fresenius
    Next Generation University since 1848

In 1848, Carl Remigius Fresenius opened his "Chemical Laboratory" in Wiesbaden - and thus laid the foundation for our university. The laboratory also included a chemistry school, where Carl Remigius dedicated himself to educate the next generation of professionals.

Since then, much has happened in the last more than 170 years. The educational institution that Hochschule Fresenius is today has passed for a lot of changes and development. What remained throughout all this time, is the passion to educate and accompany (young) people on their professional journey and in their personal development. It’s still at the core of everything we do today.

With around 18,000 students, we are one of the largest and most renowned private universities in Germany. Five departments and nine locations across Germany illustrate our diversity in the range of courses and study formats we offer: you can choose between full-time and part-time studies on the campus and also flexible distance learning.
