    Rooted. Yet soaring.

We are firmly rooted in our region and thus accessible to our students, our region’s industry and its people. Because of these firm roots, we can soar – application-oriented degree programmes, innovative approaches to teaching, relevant research and a broad network of international partners reflect this.

    Studies and teaching

Of course we qualify students in “classics” such as business administration and mechanical engineering. Our professors do, however, also teach our students the latest developments in subjects such as food technology, how to produce animated movies and how to write and translate manuals so people will actually understand them. Altogether, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences offers ten bachelor’s and eight master’s degree programmes in the subject clusters computer science, engineering, business and linguistics.
