    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Master's degree programme in Media Management at the Bauhaus University Weimar provides a complementary perspective on the dynamics of media markets: Analyse monopoly situations, develop digital marketing strategies, research innovation processes. We examine traditional and digital media products, media companies, media consumption and media markets from an economic and business, social and cultural perspective.

In doing so, we rely on theory-based and empirical research methodology as well as case studies. This academic perspective is also supplemented in workshops and lectures ("media terrace") with representatives from practice. As a result, this enables our graduates to keep up with and shape the profound changes in the digital media industry and rapidly changing work environments.

In Weimar, you can customise your studies and work independently – looking at other areas of study with the help of Bauhaus and elective modules is also part of the Bauhaus tradition. Accordingly, interdisciplinary studies and close ties to the business world and the (local) start-up scene are important components of our studies. In addition to studying, the Gründerwerkstatt neudeli offers many opportunities for self-realisation, whether in the form of its own spin-off or by participating in the wide range of workshops.
