    • Target group The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree programmes in the field of Antiquity, Classical and Ancient Studies, Classical Archaeology or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

    • The subject-related prerequisite is proof of academic achievement in the field of Ancient Studies or Classical Archaeology amounting to at least 60 credit points and a final grade of at least 'good' as well as language skills in a modern foreign language (Arabic, English, French, Italian, Modern Greek, Spanish or Turkish) at level B1. Furthermore, the following language skills must be proven or acquired during the degree course:
      Until the registration for the module ARCH 753 the Latinum or Graecum as well as until the registration for the master thesis a second of the mentioned modern foreign languages on the level B1 or a second old language (Latinum or Graecum).
      International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
