    • Target group The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree programmes in the field of Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institutionin Germany or abroad.

    • A subject related requirement is proof of a degree in the field of bioinformatics completed with good academic results.
      In the case of a degree being held in another subject (e.g. Computer Science, Biology), the examination of professional aptitude can, if necessary, be carried out by means of an admission interview.
      Knowledge of appropriate English for technical purposes and programming knowledge of an advanced programming language and a script language are required.
      International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
