    • Target group The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the field of the Natural and Engineering sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Business Informatics, Business Mathematics or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 180 degree equivalent and subject-related study at a university or higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

    • A subject related requirement is proof of a degree in the field of engineering or natural sciences, in particular computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, business informatics or business mathematics. At least 21 credit points in linear algebra, analysis, stochastics and numerics and at least 18 credit points in programming, algorithms and data structures are required.
      In principle, an interest in interdisciplinary contexts and a corresponding degree of prior interdisciplinary knowledge in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or engineering is expected.
      A very good knowledge of English is also indispensable for the course.
      International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
