    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Master's degree programme in Psychology M.Sc. is offered by the university Faculty of Natural Sciences at the MSB Medical School Berlin and thus offers an academic degree. Upon completion of the Master's degree programme, graduates are able to work in various fields of practice in Clinical Psychology, Occupational and Organisational Psychology, Sex Therapy and Neuroscience. In addition, the Master's degree programme provides the prerequisites for subsequent additional psychotherapeutic training in accordance with the previous legislation. Together with the curriculum of the Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the curriculum meets the current and future minimum requirements for access to psychotherapy training.

      In addition, the Master's degree programme entitles the holder to a doctorate and thus paves the way to an academic career.

    • The MSB has the following admission requirements for admission to our Master's degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy:

      • Eligibility to study Master’s degree courses in accordance with Art. 10 of Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG)
      • Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (as a rule, average grade of at least 2.5)
      • Successfully completed Bachelor's degree with a psychology focus of at least 70 CP, of which 25 CP in fundamentals of psychology, 12 CP in psychological diagnostics and 15 CP in scientific methodology.
      The degree programme at the MSB is not subject to admission restrictions. After your application, we will check your personal motivation in an individual interview.
