    • Target group The guiding principle is to pick up on the structural changes within the health sector and to train specialists for the management of medical care. This course is particularly interesting for Bachelor's degree graduates in Economics or Health Sciences who have sufficient prior knowledge in the fields of Statistics, Evaluation of Health Economics, Management and Controlling, Medicine and Public Health as well as basic knowledge of the German Health system.

    • Admission semester summer and winter semester
    • Bachelor's degree in Economics/Health Sciences or a similar discipline with a grade of at least 2.5 and 210 credit points from the Bachelor's degree or 180 credit points from the Bachelor's degree and successful completion of a preparatory semester at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen with 30 credit points. A Diploma degree in Economics/Health Sciences or similar discipline with a grade of at least 2.5 also meets the admission requirements if the following semester periods per week are achieved.

      Of the 210 CP, at least

      - 10 ECTS in the field of Statistics, Health Economic Evaluation or Methods of Empirical Social research
      - 5 ECTS in the field of Public Health/Medicine or proof of completed vocational training in a health profession
      - 5 ECTS in the field of Fundamentals of the German Health Care System and the Social Code V
      - 5 ECTS from the field of Information Systems
      - 10 ECTS in the field of Management and Controlling
