The Examination Board determines the equivalence of other degrees. The Examination Board determines which additional examination achievements are required and the deadline for achieving them. In justified individual cases, the Examination Board will decide on an exception to the required minimum grade. When making the decision, the degree of deviation from the minimum grade, a final thesis with a grade of “good” or higher, the length of studies and exceptional individual achievements in the area of specialisation are particularly influential.

A relevant degree course of at least 3 years leading to a professionally qualifying academic degree with an overall workload of at least 180 credits in the field of Philosophy is generally considered to be equivalent.
