    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The course Medical and Health Technology is at the crossroads between medicine and technology. Students with a Bachelor’s degree in which they acquired technical, medical and economic knowledge are to be enabled to think, act and work academically in a technology-oriented, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary manner. Students in this course acquire extensive knowledge in the fields of medicine and society, rehabilitation, age-appropriate assistance systems, navigation and robotics in surgery, sensors and actuators in the medical environment, and information management in the healthcare sector.

    • 1) A first professionally qualifying degree with at least 210 credit points (ECTS points), preferably in the fields of Biomedical Engineering/Medical Technology, Medical Informatics/Healthcare Informatics, Management of Institutions with Public Tasks, Health and Nursing Sciences or another relevant degree programmes (a preparatory pre-semester is offered for applicants with 180 ECTS points).
      2) High degree of motivation for the degree course, expressed in a letter of intent
      3) Language requirements for non-native speakers: German B2
