    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Environmental research is the focus of the course of study, which is comprised of the disciplines of Systems Science, Mathematics/Computer Science and an applied subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Social Sciences, Geography, Geo-Informatics or Psychology). It offers a wide range of methods across disciplines to work through the issues surrounding the dynamics of complex systems and to illustrate solutions. In the course of this, participation in environmentally relevant research and development projects is essential.The Master's degree opens up the opportunity to do a doctorate and, with the appropriate course planning/fulfilment of the relevant requirements, admission to any possible doctorate.In addition, the degree qualifies students for careers in the field of risk analysis (e.g. in insurance companies, firms, authorities), political consulting or in the area of environmental management and for start-ups

    • Early childhood education and development is addressed at the Center for Early Childhood Development and Education Research (CEDER) research center.
