- (1) First professionally qualifying degree (Bachelor's, Master's, Magister, Diplom, etc.) of at least 180 ECTS which was completed at a higher education institution recognised by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in the anabin database or in one of the study programmes recognised in the anabin database, or an equivalent degree.
  (2) Additional course-specific aptitude: good command of the course language English in written and spoken form. Proof of this can be provided, e.g. by at least one semester in an English-language degree course, at least one year of (professional) experience in an English-speaking country or recognised language tests. A minimum of 60 points in the internet-based TOEFL test (iBT) must be obtained or the equivalent in other language tests.
