    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Master's degree course in Infrastructure – Water and Transport is a joint study offer by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and the University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen, Gießen campus. This degree course combines the competences and expertise of both universities in this subject area.
      As part of the study programme, students are taught technical, operational and organisational aspects of infrastructure measures in the field of water and transport, taking into account social, environmental and economic aspects. The project-oriented course focuses on the planning, maintenance and operational optimisation of systems and structures.

      Graduates of the Master's degree course in Infrastructure – Water and Transport have this competence and are all-rounders with an economic and ecological background at the same time. In addition, they have leadership skills that enable them to work independently as project managers in planning, operation and management.

    • Admission requirements:
      -A professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering or other spatial, planning-relevant subject areas such as e.g. Geodata Management, Regional and Environmental Planning, Town and Regional Planning, Landscape and Environmental Planning with an average grade of 2.8 or better and with 210 ECTS credits.
      -Basic knowledge in the area of infrastructural planning must be proven by acquiring at least 20 ECTS in the area of infrastructure before the start of the course.
      - If the previous degree programme comprised less than 210 ECTS points, admission is subject to the condition that the successful completion of modules comprising up to 30 ECTS points must be proven before admission to the Master's thesis.
