The two-year Coburg MBA programme is a full-time degree leading to a general management degree with a focus in financial management.

The goal of the programme is to provide our financial management graduates with the professional qualifications and skills to pursue a CFO position. Due to its international orientation, the programme is taught in English.
We offer our students the option to obtain a double degree with our partner university UniSC Australia – without extending the total duration of the MBA programme! The additional academic and cultural experience enhances skills and knowledge and allows for further specialization.

The role of practice in degrees
An integrated practical semester enables our students to enter the German job market. We believe that academic education is not limited to the teaching environment, but also takes place off campus. We therefore try to connect our students to the "real world" on different levels. For this purpose, our MBA students usually complete a 5-month internship at a European listed company.
The degree programme has a large data base as well as excellent contacts to a large number of German industrial companies, banks & insurance companies as well as the top 3 consulting and Big 4 accounting firms.

Our special services for Master students Financial Management
The traditional orientation week for our first-year students is rounded off with a team-building event in a climbing forest and a city tour.
Other highlights that combine theory and practice are so-called field trips to companies and the academic excursion of several days to a European financial centre. They are therefore an essential part of the curriculum. We looked at the dynamically growing FinTech scene in Frankfurt and Berlin.
We consider these activities as crucial to improving our students' networking skills, promoting their integration into the German labour market and at the same time fostering contact with future employers.
You can find more information about the MBA degree programme in Financial Management on our website of Coburg University, in our flyer, our new brochure or in our video "Banks in focus - Financial Management: An excursion into the world of finance".
