    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Over the past twenty years, nanosciences have developed into a multifaceted cross-sectional discipline which is now having a significant impact on almost all areas of science and technology. The Master's degree programme in 'Nanosciences - Materials, Molecules and Cells' offers an interdisciplinary qualification at the interfaces between the areas of Life Sciences, Chemistry and Physics. By selecting a subject focus in the field of life sciences, chemistry or physics, individual planning of the course of study is made possible. The programme is supplemented by a compulsory elective area with tailored modules from the remaining two specialist disciplines. The degree course is characterised by high practical orientation and proximity to research in the area of the interdisciplinary research centre of Cellular Nanoanalytics (CellNanOs).
The Master's degree qualifies you for a broad, interdisciplinary range of professions in the field of research and development in the nanosciences and offers diverse opportunities for a doctorate, e.g. in the context of graduate schools at the University of Osnabrück.
