Studies and teaching

Of course we qualify students in “classics” such as business administration and mechanical engineering. Our professors do, however, also teach our students the latest developments in subjects such as food technology, how to produce animated movies and how to write and translate manuals so people will actually understand them. Altogether, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences offers ten bachelor’s and eight master’s degree programmes in the subject clusters computer science, engineering, business and linguistics.

Research

Numerous research projects at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences link teaching and research. Our research institutes are active in the fields of maritime topics, renewable energy and SMEs; they function as a connecting link between our students and their future employers.
